Attic Pest Removal & Decontamination
If rodents or other wildlife inhabit your attic, they can cause unimaginable problems for homeowners, extending beyond mere rodent removal. These nesting animals can carry parasites, and once they are evicted, these parasites may seek new hosts inside your home, which includes you and your family. Concerning parasites include mites, ticks, and fleas. Moreover, we frequently encounter attics that are heavily contaminated with rodent feces and urine. These deposits emit strong odors that pose hazards and make your home unsafe and unhealthy for humans.
Furthermore, the lingering scent of a previous infestation can attract new rodents in search of shelter. Allow our professionals to restore your attic to its original or even better condition by installing barriers to minimize the risk of future infestations. We will thoroughly remove the soiled insulation and decontaminate the entire attic space in a safe and comprehensive manner. Once the necessary repairs are completed, we will replace the insulation with R38 insulation.
Our Attic Pest Removal Services Include:
- Removal of all contaminated insulation
- Vacuuming of all rodent droppings
- Sanitization of the attic
- Exclusion (closing entry points, replacing vents and screens, and conducting minor roof repairs)
- Replacement with R38 insulation
- Wildlife Control (trapping)
Once all the contaminated insulation is removed and the area is sprayed and disinfected, Midway Pest Control will inspect for chewed wires, entry and exit points created by rodent infestations, and the integrity of truss and wood structures. Our goal is to ensure a secure and clean attic that is safe for you and your family.
We are dedicated to employing the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach in providing our services.
